DESIGN AND MODEL FILING

1. Power of attorney signed by the foreign applicant mentioning the signatory's name and quality ; Download

2. Seven (7) copies of the boards representing the model under its different views ;

3. ExDESIGNatory legend (if required) ;

4. Certificate of identity of the DESIGN or model delivered by the administration of the country of origin (if priority claimed).

Notes :

- The foreign applicant must compulsorily be represented by a registered attorney.

- The priority document can be provided within a period of 3 months starting from the designs or models filing date (this period can not be extended).

- The power can be provided within a period of 2 months starting from the DESIGNS and models filing date (this period can be extended by another 2 months upon request).

- The power must be simply signed and mention the name and quality of the signatory person.

- A filing can contain many models.

- A board can include many views of the model.

DESIGN OR MODEL TRANSFER

1. Contract of transfer contract signed by the transferor and the transferee and legalised before the Algerian embassy ;

2. Power of attorney signed by the transferee and mentioning the signatory's name and quality ; Download

3. Name, address and nationality of the transferor and transferee ;

4. Number and date of the transfered DESIGN or model registration.

Notes :

* A French translation must be attached to the contract of transfer written in a different language (except for Arabic).

GRANT OF LICENCE FOR A DESIGN OR MODEL

1. Grant of licence contract signed by the transferor and the transferee and legalised before the Algerian embassy; Download Design ; Download Model

2. Power of attorney signed by the transferor and mentioning the signatory's name and quality ; Download

3. Name, address and nationality of the transferor and transferee ;

4. Number and date of the granted DESIGN or model registration.

Notes :

* A French translation must be attached to the grant of licence contract written in a different language (except for Arabic).
